Obama dropped every single “feel good” cliché he could safely get away with last night in his first and last State of the Union address. He managed to deftly avoid most of his own campaign quips while near the end pandering to minority interests and telling us that the borders would be protected. He managed to show some verve and some emotion at times. He even had much of his speech memorized. All-in-all he did a good job under the immense pressure of a failed presidency on his back, but I would expect no less from such an obvious tool of destruction, for that is what I consider Barrack Hussein Obama to be.

I urge you to read this insightful and sad article in its entirety. Bill Sardi relates what a troubled nation we now call home in the USA:
Life is suddenly changing in America.
It’s 8:30 AM. I’m getting my 5-year-old son in the car to take him to preschool. I have to drive him down backstreets to school because the police are handing out traffic citations on the main drag, in the wake of downturns in public tax receipts. My son asks why? I tell him the truth. We are avoiding the police on their motorcycles.
You know, around these parts Glenn Beck’s name is spoken with open derision and the following article reveals why. I mean, here’s a fellow that has been making over a quarter-of-a-million a year since age 25 in the heart of D.C. politics. He’s bought and paid for, sign-sealed-delivered! Just take a gander at the parts of this latest Wall Street Journal article that I put in bold print for emphasis. I’m one of these “crackpots of the far left and the far right who believe that the U.S. government was behind 9/11″ according to James Taranto of the WSJ. This article lobs softball after softball to Mr. Beck. I’m going to slam them right back down his throat. Oh, and WSJ is an establishment rag, of course, but it’s worth noting that the best way to defeat your enemy is to keep them close, so I follow the WSJ on , just for occasions such as this.

It seems like a torrent of economic woe is floating across my account this morning. Here is just a sampling of the articles to peruse that will make you go count your pocket change:
How to Wreck the Credit Markets
State of the states? Broke and going broker
The Recession Is Over, the Depression Just Beginning
The Bonus Boom
Some are some highlights (aka bad news):
From Senatorial candidate, Libertarian and economics expert Peter Schiff comes an article that should toss some water on you after the “orgy” that was the previous decade. By comparison, Mr. Schiff soberly warns us all that the good times are rolling down the hill over the other side:
Let me make one point as simply and succinctly as I can: Islam by its misogynistic nature breeds aggressive behavior and the religion/cult is a political system, a way of life. There’s no need to “profile” Muslims since they are all capable of doing things in the name of Allah that we won’t be happy with. So, why is it that no concrete steps were taken after 9-11 to address this simple fact in a broader way, like protecting our borders?

Again from Infowars.com, a reality-check:
It’s a pity. News Hounds usually pegs Fox News pretty accurately. But the blog has slipped lately. For instance, a post today accuses the corporate media leviathan of hating Obama more than al-Qaeda.
“Those America lovers over at Fox Nation are so obsessed with ginning up hatred for President Obama, there’s not much room for focusing on what Al Qaeda is up to. They’re whom I would consider the real enemies of America. But judging from the top stories and the comments, the residents of Fox Nation — readers and writers – seem to think that the real enemy is our president. Many of the comments even say so,” writes Ellen.
From an article within an article called Progressive Professor Trashes Obama, David Michael Green, a professor of political science at Hofstra University in New York, does a full body slam on Barack Obama and then backs his car over him. Figuratively, of course.
What is very interesting about this lengthy grilling, besides the fact that Professor Green is a Progressive Liberal in his own right giving this beat-down to another supposed liberal, is that with the answer staring us all in the face conclusions can’t seem to be made. There are a lot of questions asked by Professor Green, who just seems very confused by it all, after all.
With Christmas Day’s airliner “terror” incident in Detroit coming not that very long after the shootings at Ft. Hood in Texas, it is inevitable that myself and others will wonder if we are seeing the start of an orchestrated trend. I won’t get into semantics here, but I do want all of you to pay close attention to details in 2010. Do not be pulled in by emotion when hysteria flies across Twitter and Facebook, as it undoubtedly will eventually when the “next 9-11″ manifests.
I have been undergoing quite the transformation in the past year. It is uncomfortable to see so many things that I used to believe true, becoming lies, and that I am finding new allies among former “enemies.” This is called Life from a philosophical perspective, and if you aspire to be a wise person, you pay attention to the details.
So, I am paying attention; watching and waiting.
I am going to be changing the Anvil in the coming weeks. Gradually. Quietly. Be prepared.
Many of you have noted my tune has changed over the course of the past 12 months. I feel that it is time to reflect that in the Anvil’s look and feel.
I now understand what is most important for Americans (and not coincidentally the World), and that is to protect the U.S. Constitution against all enemies. Islam is still an enemy, but is no longer the Enemy.
“…a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus…”
A curious delivery from U.S. President Barrack Obama on his Inauguration Day. Could I have been the only American alarmed by his choice of words in his speech or the order of representation?
“…a nation of Christians and Muslims…” Pause. Wonder what American Jews were thinking right then?
