In light of some very heated arguments here at the Anvil, I got to thinking about the fundamentals again. I believe this is as good a time as any to put together a new poll to put into rotation. Think about this one carefully and then select your response, because very often a simple question brings us closer to the most difficult of answers.

Thanks to Sounder for pointing me towards a photograph published at Kafir Canada. I really don’t have to give any description here; the photographs tell the tale. Now you should be asking the questions.
For the record, Islam does not mean ‘peace’ literally, no matter what any propaganda attempts to imply. Islam means ’submission’, and a Muslim is ‘one who submits to Allah.’ I’m pretty sure that most of us know what Islam means for the future of the Free World by this point, regardless of any definitions. It is not a happy prospect.

From CBC’s The National comes must-see video footage: what happens when “moderate” Muslims actually do attempt to be heard? Death threats, physical abuse, and that’s coming from fellow Muslims. Note: these are outside links and not yet hosted here on the Anvil.
Again, I am warning all Americans — continue to live in apathy, continue to bury your heads in the sand, continue to strive to find equivalence between the Torah/Gospel and the absolute mythology that is the Quran, and you are going to end up in dire straits in your lifetime because of the actions of Islamic jihadists in YOUR backyard. It’s not so far off, as these videos from Canada should warn you.

1 CommentOTTAWA - Immigrants wishing to live in the small Canadian town of Herouxville, Quebec, must not stone women to death in public, burn them alive or throw acid on them, according to an extraordinary set of rules released by the local council.
The declaration, published on the town’s Web site, has deepened tensions in the predominantly French-speaking province over how tolerant Quebecers should be toward the customs and traditions of immigrants.
“We wish to inform these new arrivals that the way of life which they abandoned when they left their countries of origin cannot be recreated here,” said the declaration, which makes clear women are allowed to drive, vote, dance, write checks, dress how they want, work and own property.
“Therefore we consider it completely outside these norms to … kill women by stoning them in public, burning them alive, burning them with acid, circumcising them etc.”
No one on the town council was available for comment on Tuesday. Herouxville, which has 1,300 inhabitants, is about 160 km (100 miles) northeast of Montreal.
Andre Drouin, the councilor who devised the declaration, told the National Post newspaper that the town was not racist.
“We invite people from all nationalities, all languages, all sexual orientations, whatever, to come live with us, but we want them to know ahead of time how we live,” he said.

A Toronto Star article reveals news that a terrorist plot has been stopped in Canada. Well, it’s good to know not everyone over that northern border is ignoring the problem. After I saw interviews with an Al Qaeda family in Toronto on Frontline a few weeks ago, I was pretty disappointed in Canada’s efforts.
