Well, I’m back. DOS (Denial-of-Service) attacks were launched against my site and others on my shared server starting Saturday afternoon. But, as you can see, all is well that ends well.
My sincere apologies to my regular readers for the downtime. I will return to the burn on Monday, rest assured.
As to the source of the attack, all I know at this time is that it seems to have originated somewhere near Bangkok, Thailand. This is prompting me to take some precautions, so if anyone in Thailand wants to visit the Anvil, you might need a U.S. proxy. I’m somehow not going to worry too much about losing that one reader from Bangkok.
