I have to wonder if members of the U.S. Congress or President Bush ever receive reports like this in their daily briefings. The myth of “Islamic tolerance” lives on despite all the evidence to the contrary. I am not blind. From Mission Network News:
Gaza (MNN) ― Gaza’s minority Christian community was badly shaken over the weekend after the director of the Christian Bookstore run by the Bible Society was found beaten, stabbed and shot to death. Rami Ayyad was 29 years old and an active member of the Gaza Baptist Church.
Islam has this nasty little habit of laying claim to things that don’t belong to it. It started with God, the angels Gabriel and Michael, and then ultimately Jesus, Mary and parts of Judeo-Christian doctrine. Then it turned into war for land and the ousting of non-Muslims from Arabia, the enslavement of Christian and Jewish women and children and the slaughter of their men. But that was all just Muslim foreplay in comparison to what some of their modern “scholars” and clergy want the Islamic world to believe today.

In reaction to my recently created and posted War Poster, I received this all-too-typical comment from the usual cadre of the foolish yet self-righteous:
What you’re tinkering with in the post description (”Islam is Sharia Law, and Sharia Law has no place in the United States…swearing on a Koran in the U.S. sets a deadly precedent”) is called ‘treading down the slippery slope’. You’re inferring that all Islams believe that Sharia law must be implemented, and if even one individual swears on the Koran we are doomed to fall into the chasm of Islamic fundamentalism. Or something like that.

Yep, you read that headline correctly. And NO, old Qaddafi is not insane. He’s a devout Muslim who sees his side winning. That’s right, I said winning. Why else would a coward like Qaddafi suddenly come out of his bunker long enough to state such things? Makes you stop and ponder a bit, doesn’t it?
