Ban Islam?

Boycott Islam? Outlaw Islam? Ban Islam?

No matter how you say it, it amounts to a lot of shared sentiment on the part of educated infidels worldwide: we just plain know that the heart of Islam is rotten.

No shock then when I was sent a message alerting me to the following petition.

I signed it. Will the world change tomorrow as a result? No, but this does continue to send the message: We are aware of the true nature of Islam and we aren’t going to remain quiet about it any longer.

Boycott Islam: UAE company makes move on AMD

Intel’s strongest computer chip rival, AMD, has now had over 8% of its stock purchased by a company out of the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. I take especial displeasure and interest in this incident because I personally own AMD stock. While I am not yet quite ready to put AMD onto the Boycott Islam list, I am definitely close to doing so. I will be making my anger known to AMD this coming week in a couple of personal emails and if I sense that even more of AMD will be going to Muslim interests, I will be selling my stock and submitting AMD to the list.

Hammerstrike: Presenting the Boycott Islam Wiki

The Boston Tea PartyAs I hinted at a couple of weeks back, I have completed revamping the Boycott Islam: Companies & Products List to now be a wiki-style interface that selected volunteers may help maintain. The editing interface is fairly straight forward and should be a snap for anyone familiar with wiki or blogging platforms. Many backup drafts are maintained on the host Wikispaces to avoid disaster, and I have the pages snuggled neatly into the familiar Anvil framework to keep things tidy. The boycott list is also still easily printable from the new wiki page.

Boycott Saudi Arabian Airlines

President George W. and King Abdullah of Saudi ArabiaToday I’m working hard to be ready to unveil the new Anvil Wiki that will feature a brand new version of the Boycott Islam: Companies & Goods list. This list will be user-editable (thus the term wiki). However, before I do this, I wanted to bring a couple of related stories to your attention via Dr. Daniel Pipes. It seems that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bastion of those happy Wahhabis, has been called on the carpet for some of its more notoriously bigoted habits, namely telling non-Muslims that they have no right to display their faith openly with non-Islamic religious symbols while visiting Saudi Arabia or — even as international passengers on Saudi Airlines. The Kingdom bans “Bibles, crucifixes, statues, carvings, items with religious symbols such as the Star of David.”

Question for Anvil Readers

I have been giving some thought in my time off from the daily blog grind as to how to best maintain the Boycott Islam: Companies and Products List, and I’m toying with the idea of making it user-interactive. Handling that list in a Wikipedia fashion under my strict supervision and editorial control would allow it to grow at a much faster rate and free me up from spending too much time manually editing it myself. I believe it would also generate more overall interest in the Boycott Islam campaign.

Boycott Islam: Police surround Your Black Muslim Bakery in Oakland

Boycott IslamJust read this over at Jihad Watch and obviously I’ve just updated my Boycott Islam - Companies and Products List:

Oakland and Fremont police have surrounded the Your Black Muslim Bakery in Oakland.

Television stations KPIX and KTVU report that S.W.A.T team negotiators and various high-ranking police officials are at the scene….

The late Yusuf Bey was the founder of Your Black Muslim Bakery, famed for its bean and carrot pies and known as having an open door to struggling families. Bey’s reputation took a hit in later years as he defended himself against rape allegations in Alameda County.

Flush a Koran Smilie

Careful what you wish for because you just might get it. With thanks to 1389 for planting the idea in my mind, I today bring a little humorous, yet at the same time serious graphic that I have not only added to my Boycott Islam graphics, but also into the Smilies usable here in the Anvil comments section.

Presenting the Flush a Koran smilie (sans an actual smilie) created by Yours Truly:

Bye-Bye Islamic Adverstisements

Jessica Simpson peace signI’m making an extra effort this morning to filter out many of the pro-Islam and Islam proselytizing ads that have been randomly placed on the Anvil for months. I think I’m seeing results. I know that more than a few of you will be happy to see them gone and this will mean even more relevant and hopefully useful advertising for the majority of my visitors.

I couldn’t exactly push a successful Boycott Islam campaign and continue to unwittingly send traffic to Islamic businesses, now could I?

Boycott Islam: Calling the Blogosphere to Build the Company List

A couple of weeks ago I proposed the “radical idea” of using boycott as a way of peacefully marginalizing the Islamic community in Western nations and forcing it towards a reckoning with itself. Well, today is finally time for me to put forth the call to the Blogosphere and request suggestions for companies that should be targets of this boycott.

Graphics for ‘Boycott Islam’ Campaign

OK, today I’m just going to sit here and churn out buttons and graphics for the Boycott Islam campaign. I will probably do this sort of thing again and again over the duration of this campaign. Check back for updates today though, as this particular posting will undoubtedly have additions during the course of the afternoon.

Here are the new graphics, big and small:

How to peacefully remove Muslims from your own neighborhood

[Note: I originally wrote the following article on June 5, 2006, but in light of the fact that it was read by only a handful of visitors and being quite applicable to the mood surrounding the recent ‘Jihad Doctors’ attack in the UK, I’m resurrecting it.]

The words of a Muslim in Canada gave me a terribly simple and effective idea this morning. First the quote:

The charges allege that the men knowingly participated in a terrorist group and either received or provided terrorist training in Toronto, nearby Mississauga, Fort Erie — a border town across from Buffalo, N.Y. — and Ramara Township, located on the shores of Lake Simcoe in central Ontario’s cottage country.

A federal official said he expects some serious reflection in government and security circles about how young people raised in Canada could allegedly conspire to commit such crimes.

“Most of them went through the school system here. They’re not just off the plane. So there will be some questioning going on,” the official said.

“The big issue is going to be societal, that’s clear.”…

Farhad Oryakhim, 17, an employee at an east-end shop, said he’s concerned about how Muslims in Canada are going to be treated in the wake of the arrests.

“It’s going to be a pretty hard time now,” Oryakhim said. “After this incident, people are going to look at the Muslims from a dangerous view.”

Oryakhim said he fears that non-Muslim customers will stop patronizing businesses in the area that are run by Muslims.

“It’s going to hurt our businesses,” he said. “Our life.”

Farhad has some idea of what the future holds.

And he has unwittingly given us the solution to the Muslim presence in our neighborhoods and schools and businesses: boycott them.

Boycott IslamSimple and effective. Every single one of us can do it. Just refuse to patronize any establishment that is run or owned by Muslims, from gas stations to convenience stores, dry cleaners to restaurants to specialty grocery stores and the like. You know the signs to look for by now and most people are intelligent enough to differentiate between a peaceful Hindu and a Muslim. But, if you need a clue, just look for the women. If you can’t find any or the ones that you do find are veiled or hooded, well, then you’re probably dealing with Muslims. There’s an even easier way to know for sure though — and that’s just locate your local mosques and remember a few faces.

Prejudice in action? Of course. But have we not been given not only a right but an obligation to exercise such prejudice when it is in the interests of our future and our safety and the sanctity of our nations? It’s either this or violence. So, what choice have we been given?

We all have a basic right to decide where we put our money, and if we collectively refuse to give any of it to the Muslim community then that community will eventually cease to exist OR it will be forced to reform itself and assimilate to our societies. So, here is the perfect chance for the so-called “moderate” Muslims to do something about their own backyards and not just give us all lip-service.

It’s either time for Muslims to change or to realize that they are no longer welcome and that they must move to greener pastures.

Boycott Islam.

ADDENDUM: Shortly after this article hit the frontpage of the Anvil, it was submitted by a reader to Digg.com, or it was “Dugg” according to standard Net vernacular. About one day later that submission was forcibly removed from Digg by the editors of that site without a word to me or a response to my subsequent complaints, the submitter’s account was banned and all capacity for Digging articles from Foehammer’s Anvil revoked. Think perhaps this story was only “buried” and not completely erradicated from Digg.com along with over 100 comments there? Search for it yourself and be sure to click Include Buried Stories option. If you find it “buried”, please contact me.
