When we fight a war to eliminate an Islamic fundamentalist insurgency, while we claim to not be waging a war on Islam, naturally some people are confused. We ascribed political meaning to the term, and that has consequences.
We must learn to refer to a terrorist as a terrorist and nothing more. As President Bush repeatedly preaches, Islam is a religion of peace. We must cease equating terrorists with members of a peaceful religion, unless we truly want to cause a tenth crusade.
Well, the votes are in this morning and the winner is — the Anvil (that would include me by default) has been declared ‘Fatwaworthy’ by the now already infamous ‘Radical Muslim’. I’d like to thank all the little people out there that helped make this happen. ‘Radical’ was a little late on the uptake but plenty of pestering managed to get him to make the necessary additions to his ‘Fatwaworthy’ bloglist and now other familiar names like Sheik Yer’ Mami’s site Winds of Jihad, among others, join me in this list of infidel excellence.
Nearing the end of World War II, Patton lead American forces through many rural sections of Germany in an allied version of the Blitzkrieg. In many of these towns, Nazi soldiers managed to become insurgents and threatened to become a serious problem. However, Patton was in charge and that’s something the Nazis weren’t counting on. Am I alone in this world in seeing the reality of the fear that Islam is putting into our hearts as a broad people of planet Earth? Or am I just one of the few with the guts enough to say such a thing openly in this blog?
I am sick to death of the Dhimmitude of too much of the World Outside of Islam.
We had all better start waking up to the reality that the threat to our very lives from this gigantic cult is not fiction. I don’t care anymore how many Muslims are offended by my outright defiance of their twisted ideology.
Islam has succeeded, for the most part, in convincing the modern world that the Crusades were some mad design by the ancient West and that Westerners have no right to the Holy Lands. How is it that we Westerners seem to swallow these lies, especially when you consider that Christianity and Judaism predate Islam by many centuries? Now, once again, Islamic leadership is attempting to further change the historical facts by asking for an official apology from the Vatican for the Crusades.
Toronto Sun Columnist Michael Coren tells it like it is about the Crusades and other lies perpetuated by Islam. Can you handle the truth?:

Not supposed to say that the Crusades were not some vile Christian slaughter, but a response by Europe to the military expansion of Islam. Muslim armies had invaded Christian lands and would continue to do so for hundreds of years. They moved into Spain and reached the gates of Vienna.

I would rank The Crisis of Islam by Bernard Lewis as must reading. This goes for anyone that cares about getting real perspective on Islam and why we do not understand them and they do not understand us — although I think the West is starting to definitely turn that tide. The opposite, unfortunately, is not the case.
