Most of us believe by now that Iran has been meddling to the point of warranting a Declaration of War from the U.S. Congress. This Iranian meddling has been proven by continued uncovering of evidence in Iraq, but did you know that Iran is also arming the Taliban in Afghanistan? Certainly we are in a state of war with Iran. American and Coalition soldiers are dead because of Iran. Many innocents as well. I put the blood of those recently murdered North Koreans squarely on the hands of Iran as much as the Taliban after seeing more and more reports such as this one:

Italian Premier Romano Prodi said Monday that Iran must be prevented from acquiring nuclear weapons and called on Gazas Hamas rulers to release a captured Israeli soldier.
Prodi was on a three-day trip to Israel and the West Bank to discuss ways to promote Mideast peacemaking. At a news conference, he joined Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in speaking of the need to block Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
“We can never accept a country sworn to Israels destruction becoming a nuclear power,” Olmert said.
Bits and pieces from recent events with Iran should go a long way in convincing at least a handful of Americans that Iran’s Islamic thugocracy is asking for a beat-down, but fully expecting not to get one. Now, why is that? Because we historically have given every reason for the Islamists in Iran to believe that they can act with impunity and get away with it. And unfortunately, I’m starting to think they might be right.

The Pentagon takes the military and terrorist threat of Iran extremely seriously. Yet the brass in Rummy’s inner circle could not keep their faces straight with all the recent announcements from Tehran.
