Muslim Day Parade Update:
Thanks to the intrepid Urban Infidel there are now some photographs available of the NYC Muslim Day Parade that transpired on September 9, 2007. One photograph in particular jumped out at me. In it a Muslim man is holding, and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, an iconic black flag of Islamic jihad. Even more ironic about the photograph is that an American flag is in the same photograph and furled up almost in submission while the Muslim man waves the black flag proudly and higher than Old Glory. That’s a big traditional no-no for any of you new (or even not so new) Americans that might be unaware of how to present the Stars & Stripes properly.
More members of the ‘Religion of Peace’ arrested just days away from launching an “imminent” terror attack in Germany. Report from RADIO FREE EUROPE / RADIO LIBERTY:
September 5, 2007 (RFE/RL) — German authorities say they have arrested three suspected Islamic terrorists for allegedly plotting bomb attacks on Frankfurt airport and a U.S. military base in Ramstein.
Defense Minister Franz Josef Jung said the threat had been “imminent.”
Officials said the arrests took place on September 4, and that police had carried out searches across the country.

I have been a regular reader of Robert Spencer’s excellent web site, Jihad Watch, for several months now. So, I was very pleased to see Mr. Spencer this morning on Fox News, where he was given the forum for a few minutes to relate what amounts to rare glimmers of frank discussion about the current roots of the Islamic terrorist threat and the truth behind it.
