It’s almost as if I’m living in a nightmare and someone needs to shake me awake. Greed will destroy us all yet if we let it; anything to garner more revenue, even if it means shaking hands with the ghost of Muhammad in order to please his followers and their ideological insanity. Nobody should still believe that Islam is “just a religion” after reading this news; not even the most diehard moonbats among you.

‘Radical Muslim’ has a new blog and a very recent post has already gotten him more attention then he deserves — at least until I’m on his list of Western hawks and Islam-bashers! From Fatwaworthy in the Bloggersphere:
Possible fatwaworthy sites in the Bloggersphere are many due to the array of sites that contain writings that slander Islam, therefore when I come accross particularly Islamophobic sites I bookmark them under Fatwaworthy? Some will be well written while others will be an illogical mess, however, the common denominator between them is that they exist in part or full to spread Islamophobic opinions. Brothers and Sisters, please fell free to suggest additions to the list.

Some may ask What is a Fatwa?, while others may wonder what had made them worthy as with those deviants whom have recently linked to me in this respect. A fatwa is an Islamic religious ruling, a scholarly opinion on a matter of Islamic law. Therefore, when the Shariah again rules the world (inshAllah) the importance may be placed on a fatwa requiring acceptance that Islamophobic sites be peacefully shut down and no longer be permitted to exist. Untill this occurs it may be considered our duty to list such sites and even write/contact websites, media outlets and relevant officials in order to campaign for such sites be closed.
It is with sympathy I report that the Islamic news site Al-Jazeerah has been frozen due to a campaign against it which is suggested as being started by a person of an Islamophobic site which boasts its own list of friends under “fatwaworthy”. This is what we are up against! As MPACUK today states;
“Let us all come back together, uniting under the one banner. The banner of brotherhood. Let us stand united. It is never too late. One voice. One nation. One common goal. Remember brothers and sisters United we stand, divided we fall.”
In 1989, “fatwa” became an often mentioned term around the world, following Ayatollah Khomeini fatwa issued on Salman Rushdie for his novel, “Satanic Verses”. Containing a death penalty, fatwa has erroneously come to be understood as nothing but a death penalty. The fatwa reads:
“The author of The Satanic Verses, a text written, edited, and published against Islam, against the Prophet of Islam, and against the Koran, along with all the editors and publishers aware of its contents, are condemned to capital punishment. I call on all valiant Muslims wherever they may be in the world to execute this sentence without delay, so that no one henceforth will dare insult the sacred beliefs of the Muslims.”

For several months I have worked and re-worked a pet project dedicated to the idea of “mapping” Jihad. I have continued this work in relative quiet, behind the scenes here at the Anvil, and have the pieces in place, but considering the amount of work I already do alone, I have had to put things on the back-burners and chisel away slowly while I find the methods to best deliver such a project to you, my readers.

From Malaysia News Online comes the sad story of a woman trying to escape Islam and being told flatly that there is no way out — by a court of law. Sound crazy? That’s called Islamic (or Sharia) Law, and it’s binding for life. “You can check in, but you can never leave” Islam:
KOTA KINABALU: A 24-year-old Muslim woman yesterday failed in her application to renounce Islam on the grounds that she did not practise the religion and was never given religious education.
Syariah High Court judge Jasri @ Nasip Matjakir said the applicant did not submit any concrete evidence that she was no longer a Muslim in action, behaviour or deed that could expel her from Islam.
In her affidavit, read by counsel Hamid Ismail, the Sino-Kadazan said her non-Muslim lifestyle would cause society to look down on her and she would be subjected to the judgment of the syariah court.
The applicants father was a Muslim while her mother, a Sino-Kadazan, converted when the couple got married.
Hamid said the basis of her application was under Article 11 of the Federal Constitution that she had the right to choose her religion and must not be prevented from doing so by anyone.
This is as held by the Su- preme Court in the case of Minister of Home Affairs, Malaysia and Anor v Jamaluddin bin Othman, 1989 1 MLJ 418.
The second basis was that Islamic law on apostasy is not applicable in Malaysia because there is no total application of Islamic law in Malaysia.
There is no “total” application of Islamic law in Malaysia, and yet the Malaysian court is siding with Islamic rules against apostasy in its verdict. Imagine what would happen if Islamic law was in “total” control. The woman would be beheaded, most likely, or raped and burned or stoned or any number of punishments that have been cast upon would-be apostates and especially women under the rule of Sharia.

Jasri, in his judgment, said although the Federal Constitution did state that every individual deserved to choose his or her religion, it did not give authority to the syariah court to allow Muslims to renounce their religion. “The court can only decide whether ones action is permissible according to Muslim laws.
“The reasons given by the applicant are based on fear of punishment which is against the teachings of Islam. Is fear a good enough reason?
“The court finds the reasons given are weak and not one that can be used as permissible to murtad (leave Islam).“
When a religion is feared, that should say more than enough. This idea of being forced to stay within a religion is alien to American and Western thinking, but it is absolute law in most Islamic nations, and as you can now see, even in nations where Islam does not yet hold a majority. Fear is a powerful weapon and the Muslims know it well.
