That Keith Ellison Reichstag Video

Keith Ellison-Muhammad, Congressman from Minnesota, has really stirred the political anthill with his words last week comparing President George W. Bush to Hitler and at the same time hinting that 9-11 was an inside job. The fact that Ellison-Muhammad is also the first and only Muslim to be elected to Congress coupled with these sorts of attacks will surely come back to haunt him — well, to be honest his poorly chosen words already are, and there’s even a videotape:

The Sounds of That Ellison Victory Party

Since some reader comments on the previous article reminded me of the sounds that were to be heard at Keith Ellison’s victory party the night of his election to Congress, I did a quick search and came up with the following video. The disturbing sounds will begin at about two minutes in. If you don’t find parts of the audio “disturbing”, you weren’t paying attention on 9-11 when the Palestinian women were dancing in the streets in celebration, and you also have never watched one of the videos of an American like Nick Berg being beheaded. You might be better off for having never heard such sounds in conjunction with either event:

Muslim Congressman Ellison Compares Bush to Hitler

Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison is apparently too stupid to realize that Bush is actually one of the best friends Muslims in the United States have, or he just can’t resist the whips of his CAIR masters and has to pour blood on the liberal media feeding-frenzy always surrounding Bush. Scoring a few more points with his American-Islamic constituency can’t hurt Ellison either. I warned this fellow would be trouble long before he ended up elected to Congress, but the citizens of Minnesota apparently don’t read much of the Anvil.

From today’s WorldNetDaily:

Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., told a group of atheists earlier this week the actions of the Bush administration in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, al-Qaida attacks remind him of the Nazis’ use of the burning of Berlin’s Reichstag parliament building in 1933 to expand their power.

Ellison, at a noontime speech before Atheists for Human Rights, told the Minneapolis-based group, “You’ll always find this Muslim standing up for your right to be atheists.”

Mr. Ellison! Are you not a “true Muslim” then? No devout Muslim would ever make such a statement since it is clearly against the dictates of Islam to coddle atheists, or is it that you’re actually happily employing the tactic of supporting anyone that is not a Jew, Hindu, Buddhist or Christian?

I have reasons for asking.

“This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and I have chosen for you Islam as you religion.” (Qur’an 5:3)

“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to God), never will it be accepted of him.” (Qur’an 3:85)

Keith Ellison-MuhammadI’m afraid I’m having a difficult time believing a Muslim politician who was so quick to follow the appeasing, muffin-head Nancy Pelosi to Syria back in April. You’re not a fool or a secularist in my estimation, Ellison, so you’re obviously seeing just one more opportunity to create allies where they may best be used to further the Islamic agenda in the United States and to tear pieces away from our Judeo-Christian foundations. I hope you prove me wrong, but you’ve already been caught in your share of lies when it comes to our American heritage.

The congressman talked to the group of over 100 meeting in the Southdale Library in Edina about a number of topics – impeaching Vice President Cheney, Bush’s commutation of Scooter Libby’s sentence, the war in Iraq and the 2001 attacks by al-Qaida.

Speaking of the destruction of the World Trade Center and the damage to the Pentagon, Ellison said, “It’s almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that. After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the communists for it and it put the leader of that country [Hitler] in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted.”

On Feb. 27, 1933 – one week before elections in Germany – the Reichstag building in Berlin was burned. Historians have disputed who set the blaze for nearly 75 years, although the Nazis have often been suggested as culprits who destroyed the nation’s parliament building in an effort to discredit the communists and justify seizure of emergency powers.

The day following the fire, Chancellor Adolph Hitler pushed for an end to many personal, political and property rights and used powers granted to him to crush political opposition and come to power.

“The fact is that I’m not saying it was a [U.S.] plan, or anything like that because, you know, that’s how they put you in the nut-ball box – dismiss you,” Ellison explained to the group.

Oh, I wouldn’t worry too much about that, Keith: being a follower of a “nut-ball” cult didn’t keep you from getting elected, did it? You’re about as well-protected as any member of Congress, in fact, because dismissing you would immediately be challenged on racial and/or religious grounds. And I’m quite sure you’re aware of that safety net, or you wouldn’t be comparing our President to Hitler. I think you’d be able to make a far better case by comparing Mr. Bush to Chamberlain, but you don’t want anyone to even go there, do you?

Ellison, however, is no stranger to controversial positions.

As WND has reported, Ellison, a Muslim who used a Quran for his swearing-in ceremony, has come under criticism for associating with a Muslim group accused of fomenting violence against Jews and Christians.

He also allowed his election supporters to shout, “Allahu Akbar!,” the same phrase allegedly used by the 9/11 suicide pilots, and he has confirmed to reporters that “in terms of political agenda items, my faith informs these things.”

It was in 2000 that Ellison joined Bernadine Dohrn, one of the founders of the 1960s radical group the Weather Underground, and several other speakers at a fundraiser for then-recently arrested Kathleen Soliah, a.k.a. Sara Jane Olson of the Symbionese Liberation Army. Soliah and other members of the 1970s domestic-terrorist group were later convicted for placing bombs under police cars and murdering a woman during a bank robbery.

On Tuesday, Ellison attempted to further clarify his Reichstag statement by telling the Minneapolis Star-Tribune he was making the point that “in the aftermath of a tragedy, space is opened up for governments to take action that they could not have achieved before that.”

Careful, Keith, careful. You’re having a Freudian slip, I believe.

So, in the aftermath of 9-11, Ellison is implying that the U.S. government could grab more power and infringe on the rights of the American people, but if you think about it as I have all these years, the terror of 9-11 is being utilized not so much by our own government to do wrong as it is being utilized by our enemies to manipulate our government. Bush is a tool of the Saudis, whether he is cognitive of it or not. We’ve got our first Muslim representative in Congress ever (Ellison) and the first Muslim U.S. ambassador to the United Nations ever, too — something I’m quite confident never would have happened prior to September 11, 2001. These are knee-jerk reactions by both average citizens at the voting booth and our own President and Congress, too many of which still continue to mistakenly believe that we can make friends with the “Muslim world” by continuously placing more of them in key seats of power and responsibility here in the United States.

Land-grabs and business deals by Muslims have only seemed to increase since 9-11 — the largest shareholder in Krispy Kreme doughnuts is a Muslim, for God’s sake!

And, of course, we all know by now that we also have a former Muslim running for the highest office in the land, Barack Obama.

It is clearly the Muslims worldwide that are taking “action that they could not have achieved before” 9-11 and not just the U.S. government. Fear is cowing our elected officials just as much as it is cowing our citizens. If this wasn’t the case, I wouldn’t be here on the proverbial “rooftop”, shouting each day with so few allies, and being banned by Digg and being labeled a “hater” for having the audacity to point out what is otherwise obvious truth to me and nothing more.

When asked for examples of such Nazi-like action in the wake of 9/11, Ellison cited the Iraq war, certain provisions of the Patriot Act and Bush’s commutation of Scooter Libby’s sentence.

Well, Congressman Ellison, what should your election have told the American people, hmm?

Apparently it told Mr. Bush to enter a mosque in his socks, but still you compare his Administration’s machinations to those of the Third Reich. Well, that’s what appeasement gets you, Mr. President.
