In Defense of Tea Parties

Just the other day I read the David Brooks op-ed piece described in the following article. It was offensive, sad and hilarious. This “educated class” idea is a banal joke. I’ve attended enough Tea Party events to know that David Brooks was talking out of his ass as he described the stereotypical Tea Party participant. David, my old man went to Yale, if you must know. I’m a Mensa member myself, daddy-o. That’s odd isn’t it: I don’t fit your stereotype of a Tea Partier at all, Mr. Brooks. In fact, I fit the profile of…wait for it…wait for it…the “educated class”! Well, damn, David. What d’ya know about that!

Proof is in the Pudding: Watch the Controlled Mass Media Demonize American Protesters

OK, it’s been a long time since I’ve been pissed off enough to sit here at this blog and jot down serious thoughts on serious issues, but enough is enough when it comes to the behavior of MSNBC, CNN and other Mass Media outlets. This chicanery is so obvious I can’t stand it anymore! The Mass Media proves by its own actions this year and last that it is absolutely controlled by the Globalist Elite. First it was the disgusting lack of balance in the last U.S. Presidential Election. Then it was the ignoring of mounting evidence that Obama was not legally qualified to be President of the United States. Then it was the almost absolute blackout on evidence that nano-thermite has been discovered, by a growing number of studies, in dust collected from 9-11. And lately it’s been the ridicule and outright lies about honest and concerned Americans that dare stand up and protest against the insane and anti-American policies of the liar named Barack Obama aka Barry Soetoro.

Spitzer: Political Assassination

I doubt many of you reading the Anvil are naive enough to believe that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is the only politician in the United States alive today to utilize the services of prostitutes. Why then did someone believe it so important enough to go after Spitzer with the intent to actually smoke out his personal dalliances, and how might these reasons tie into some of the other issues I have recently been pointing out here with such temerity?

Racism is just one more way to divert our attention

By now the entire world has witnessed to some extent the speech given yesterday by Barack Obama. I personally have only bothered to listen to bits and pieces of it, because I already knew that more discussion on the subject of “race in America” was just what it has been for too many years now: a diversionary tactic.

I’m not laughing

Today I’m bringing you some footage from one of the White House Correspondents Association dinners. This is a time when the elite in Washington, D.C. hob-knob with the very reporters that are supposed to be keeping an eye on them. It’s supposed all be in good fun. Supposed to be.

I’m not laughing.

Why apologists for jihad call the rest of us names

Hitler enlists the aid of Grand Mufti al-Husseini (video)Robert Spencer makes another good point today in regards to the tactics being used against those of us who dare defy the norm and stand up to Islamofascism. These apologists are too often the actual thugs utilizing the very fascist ideas they attempt to project upon those they despise:

Because they’re taking a page from Adolf Hitler’s playbook — cf. this quote from Mein Kampf (thanks to Frank) about the Nazi movement and its tactics:

The Finger-Pointing Game of the MSM: Islamic Terror Not So Bad If We Do Nothing

This story disgusts me. MSM reporters are fanning the flames of doubt around the horrific events that lead to the Beslan Massacre, conveniently forgetting that if it wasn’t for the Islamic terrorists taking all those children hostage in the first place, more than 200 of them would be alive today!

From the AP, Video reopens debate over Beslan attack:

A video that remained secret for nearly three years after the horrific Beslan hostage crisis has cast new doubt on official conclusions about what led to the deaths of 334 people, more than half of them children, during one of Russia’s worst terrorist attacks.

Pajamas Media: Iranian Weapons. American Lives.

I’ve wanted to re-post this here for a few weeks, so today is the day. If you haven’t yet seen this absolute evidence of Iranian involvement in the Iraq debacle and the past and continuing murder of American soldiers via proxy groups armed with imported Iranian munitions, this is it:

This is an exclusive report from Pajamas Media and author Richard Miniter, who had this to say about this video clip:

As with an ordinary mine field, you have to be very careful where you put your emphasis. Stress the wrong truth and either the left or the right wants to blow you up.

Here at Camp Victory, a sprawling concrete and razor wire American base that wraps around Baghdad International Airport, Maj. Weber was trying to explain how to negotiate that mine field. On the one side he wanted me to know me that the captured weapons on the table before us were — definitely, no doubt about it, absolutely — from Iran. On the other hand, he avoided drawing the obvious conclusion that Iran is supplying America’s enemies inside Iraq.

That simple and obvious conclusion would anger the Democratic leadership in Congress, much of the press corp, and a large swath of the antiwar set.

Bear this is mind, when you watch this exclusive Pajamas Media video shot in Iraq. The video offers startling new evidence of Iran’s involvement in the insurgency. It is the first up-close, online video showing captured Iranian weapons. These particular weapons have not been shown to the public before.

Far from being offered up by the military, it took me weeks of wangling to see Maj. Weber. The military does not want to talk about the mortars, rockets and bombs flooding in from Iran. It has been burned by the press every time the subject comes up.

Senior officers also realize that the Democrat-led Congress doesn’t want to hear about Iran’s sinister role in Iraq and that President Bush does not want a confrontation with Iran now. To make the interview even harder to get, Maj. Weber’s specialty, Explosives Ordnance Disposal or EOD, has a culture of not talking to the press. Any EOD officer who does, owes his unit a case of beer for each appearance.

So conspiracy theorists who feel this exclusive Pajamas Media Video is military propaganda couldn’t be more wrong—the military would have been happier if the interview never happened.

Finally, Maj. Weber agreed to this exclusive interview with Pajamas Media on two conditions: that a public-affairs officer be present to interrupt him if he said anything with political ramifications, and that the conversation be limited simply to the weapons themselves.

I agreed to those conditions because a large story the rest of the media missed: the weapons themselves. These Iranian weapons and others like them are killing American soldiers.

Twice before the military has tried to present to the press overwhelming evidence of Iran’s involvement in the Iraq war, only to be met by hostile skepticism. The skepticism basically takes the form of three questions:
1) Couldn’t these weapons have been made anywhere?
2) Isn’t it fishy that these weapons were marked in English with American-style dates?
3) Isn’t all of this a ploy to justify a neocon war with Iran?

As you will see from the video, Maj. Weber can definitively answer the first two questions. As for the Daily Kos-inspired third question, well, who can address questions from planet Paranoid? And who should bother?

The rest of the article may be read here.

Now, what was that malarkey about “a tiny minority of extremists” again? And I’d love to hear the excuses from the Liberal Media for continuously dodging this evidence with the most weak-minded and flippant excuses imaginable (i.e. the dates printed on the weapons are American-style). Watch the entire video and you will hear some discussion of that. Frankly, it pisses me off.

U.S. soldiers kill 25 in Sadr city raids — apply tar liberally

Media bias
Just read this bit of “premiere” reporting from an “objective” AP reporter:

U.S. soldiers killed 26 people before dawn Saturday during raids in Baghdad’s Sadr City neighborhood. The U.S. military said the dead were terrorists who had attacked American troops, but Iraqi police and officials said the victims were civilians.

The reporter’s name? Hamid Ahmed. I’ll give you three guesses…

Bias in the story only gets worse. By the end it reads like this:

Stop apologizing for Islam you damn fools!

Speaker Pelosi dons a headscarf while visiting Syria

Enough!

This is what I’m hearing from the airwaves following the preliminary investigation of the foiled London bombings, in no particular order

“…radical Islam…”

“…radical extremists…”

“…extremist radicals…”

“…religion hijacked by the radicals…”

“…hijacked religion…”

“We need to have a better dialogue with the Muslims…”

“…to stop the radicals from preaching hate in the mosques…”

“People in London are typically used to a certain ideology being behind these sorts of bomb attempts….”

Stop it. Just STOP IT!

Televison Alert: Banned by PBS but to air on FoxNews

I just received the following alert from reader/contributor, A Plague On Both Houses. I’m not sure if this will be an actual airing of documentary footage from the film ‘Islam vs Islamists’, but it still sounds like an important viewing opportunity. Should anyone reading here at the Anvil get more details on Saturday’s scheduled production, please post a comment here or contact me so that I may update this entry.

From FoxNews:

Banned By PBS: Muslims Against Jihad — Sat 9p/3a EST
It’s a riveting documentary about moderate Muslims fighting jihadists who want us dead … but was it stifled by liberal bias?

Lessons in Hate, Misinformation and ‘Thought Crimes’

Islamic USA
I’ve encountered information about Sayyid Qutb before, and I’m thankful to reader Gramfan for pointing me towards the following article so that I might share it with the rest of you. As you will see, Sayyid Qutb had a very potent influence on the likes of Osama bin Laden, and despite having lived in some of the most beautiful parts of the United States for some years and receiving the benefits of our educational system, Qutb cultivated his hatred and desire for jihad even more. In fact, his history and wanderings in the U.S. and his particular criticisms of “American decadence” hit so close to home with me, that I will only not relate here in more detail for sake of anonymity, that it’s nothing short of eerie.
