A bombshell from Alex Jones’ PrisonPlanet.com:
A prominent insider has told Infowars that Texas Governor Rick Perry and other establishment neo-cons have decided to deliberately target grass roots constitutionalists with dirty tricks campaigns in an effort to derail and hijack the growing liberty movement whose influence is threatening to blow the Texas gubernatorial race wide open.
Our office was contacted by a national personality, a household name, who told us that they were in a green room at a national public event a few weeks ago with Rick Perry. The individual was shocked when Perry said directly that there were three people who ‘got under his skin’ and who ‘had to be dealt with’ immediately.
What I view is important insight from conservative Alex Wallenwein:

(This article was written last night, 01-20-10. The morning of 1-21-10 I received the email reprinted below that proved my point much faster than I expected)
If Scott Brown can do it, Debra Medina (Texas candidate for GOP nomination for governor of Texas) can do it - several times over.
Of course, it is wonderful that Scott was able to beat what’s her name, but after looking at his web site’s “Issues” statement to see what all the buzz is about, I was slightly underwhelmed.
You know, around these parts Glenn Beck’s name is spoken with open derision and the following article reveals why. I mean, here’s a fellow that has been making over a quarter-of-a-million a year since age 25 in the heart of D.C. politics. He’s bought and paid for, sign-sealed-delivered! Just take a gander at the parts of this latest Wall Street Journal article that I put in bold print for emphasis. I’m one of these “crackpots of the far left and the far right who believe that the U.S. government was behind 9/11″ according to James Taranto of the WSJ. This article lobs softball after softball to Mr. Beck. I’m going to slam them right back down his throat. Oh, and WSJ is an establishment rag, of course, but it’s worth noting that the best way to defeat your enemy is to keep them close, so I follow the WSJ on , just for occasions such as this.
Just the other day I read the David Brooks op-ed piece described in the following article. It was offensive, sad and hilarious. This “educated class” idea is a banal joke. I’ve attended enough Tea Party events to know that David Brooks was talking out of his ass as he described the stereotypical Tea Party participant. David, my old man went to Yale, if you must know. I’m a Mensa member myself, daddy-o. That’s odd isn’t it: I don’t fit your stereotype of a Tea Partier at all, Mr. Brooks. In fact, I fit the profile of…wait for it…wait for it…the “educated class”! Well, damn, David. What d’ya know about that!

I was graciously invited to be a guest on ‘The Jeff & Mike Show’ which should air today, Sunday, January 3, 2010. The heart of the discussion was centered around the Nigerian bomber who managed only to light his underwear and part of himself on fire, thanks to the efforts of some brave airline passengers that overcame him, but, as is usual for me, I attempted to broaden the discussion (in the limited time available) in order to give perspective.
I’ve now contributed to two major campaigns that are based on Libertarian ideals: Dr. Rand Paul and economist Peter Schiff. Both candidates are running as Republicans, the logical choice in today’s United States and the political environment. Though the Republican party is rife with lobby-tainted representatives, it is still the party most likely to rise up and replace the current Democratic majority when the People show up in force at the polls this year. The more Libertarian-minded candidates we have running, either separately or as Republicans, the better.
Despite months of wrangling and attempts to railroad the Fed Audit Bill spearheaded by Democrat Rep. Grayson and Republican Rep. Paul, the auditing of the Fed appears to be on the horizon. This will pull the curtain back from Oz and allow the American People to really see who’s standing there, in all their corruption! God bless everyone that fought so hard a battle to see this movement through.
