This email just in from the UAC:
The United American Committee, Americaâs largest educational grassroots organization against the threat of radical Islam, is planning a counter protest on Sunday, September 9th of an annual parade in New York City which in years past has attracted thousands of Islamist extremists carrying signs and chanting for the destruction of America. The parade, titled the Annual Muslim Day Parade, is sponsored by several Islamist organizations deemed by many Americans to be radical and a danger to freedom. Past parades have included such extremists as Ashrafuzzaman Khan, accused death squad leader, as well as Siraj Wahhaj, unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Enough!
This is what I’m hearing from the airwaves following the preliminary investigation of the foiled London bombings, in no particular order
“…radical Islam…”
“…radical extremists…”
“…extremist radicals…”
“…religion hijacked by the radicals…”
“…hijacked religion…”
“We need to have a better dialogue with the Muslims…”
“…to stop the radicals from preaching hate in the mosques…”
“People in London are typically used to a certain ideology being behind these sorts of bomb attempts….”
Stop it. Just STOP IT!

Against the backdrop of the recent, violent Hamas takeover in Gaza, Frank Salvato comes out with a very insightful article, Radical Islam’s ‘End-Game’, and so I wanted to bring it to your attention, gentle readers. Here’s a snippet:
That Islamofascist aggression advanced through the use of terrorism is taking place around the world against members of every faith other than Islam is a testimony to the fact that radical fundamentalist Islamists are engaged in an intentional conflict of global conquest. Terrorist attacks in the name of Islam have taken place in Israel, Iraq, Lebanon, Spain, Britain, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Somalia, Algeria, Sudan, South America and the United States - to cite a short list - against, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and even conformist and non-fundamentalist Islamists.
Daniel Pipes had this to say this morning about the recent and rare turnout of hundreds of thousands of “moderate” Muslims in Pakistan and Turkey seeking to keep some semblance of secularism intact in their nations’ governments (hat-tip: Sheila).
Is it not telling that great numbers of moderate Muslims see danger where so many non-Muslims are blind? Do developments in Pakistan and Turkey not confirm my oft-repeated point that radical Islam is the problem and moderate Islam the solution? And do they not suggest that ignorant non-Muslim busybodies should get out of the way of those moderate Muslims determined to relegate Islamism to its rightful place in the dustbin of history?
Thanks to Sheila for pointing this important event out. I might even be able to catch a viewing, and if I do I will review it here, of course.

Hopefully by now you have heard of the 910 Group — a new worldwide movement that is intent on putting a stop to Islamofascism. The flow of thought on the forums is truly spectacular and I have been contributing a little bit here and there.
This morning I voiced my concerns about a part of the Mission Statement wording, as reprinted in a forum posting by Vicktory:
* We seek to reverse radical Islam’s intention to wage global jihad, and stop any totalitarian movement to impose fascist domination upon any unwilling persons or nations.

What good are definitons? Here you go, about the best I’ve seen; a definition from a New York Times review of the new book The Anatomy of Fascism by Robert O. Paxton — the author’s definition of fascism. The words are chilling, and you’re about to see why :
“A form of political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline, humiliation or victimhood and by compensatory cults of unity, energy and purity, in which a mass-based party of committed nationalist militants, working in uneasy but effective collaboration with traditonal elites, abandons democratic liberties and pursues with redemptive violence and without ethical or legal restraints goals of internal cleansing and external expansion.”
