Unfortunately, I was not aware until just this morning that my Jihad News Feeds site had gone off-line due to server error. It was down for two days but is now back and working and I am hopeful it will stay that way. It’s almost as if I’m living in a nightmare and someone needs to shake me awake. Greed will destroy us all yet if we let it; anything to garner more revenue, even if it means shaking hands with the ghost of Muhammad in order to please his followers and their ideological insanity. Nobody should still believe that Islam is “just a religion” after reading this news; not even the most diehard moonbats among you.

Teddy bear woes? Thoughts from Economist.com with a couple of my own interjected for better measure:
FOR anyone who is labouring to improve Christian-Muslim relations, or stop civilisations clashing, it is a painful setback: a well-intentioned Western woman who has volunteered her services as a teacher in a land stricken by conflict and poverty, only to find herself denounced by a local colleague and incarcerated in horrible conditions.
Gillian Gibbons, a 54-year-old teacher from Liverpool, was sentenced on Thursday November 29th to 15 days in prison for “insulting religion”, after allowing her pupils at a school in Khartoum, Sudan’s capital, to name a teddy bear Muhammad. She had invited a seven-year-old girl to bring in her teddy and then encouraged the class to vote on a name for the toy.
When the story broke in the British press this week, it was widely reported that she might face up to 40 lashes, or six months in jail, if she were found guilty on all three of the charges laid against her. British diplomats are now trying to secure Ms Gibbons’ early release. The incident happened in September and caused no protest among parents at the time. At one point the affair seemed to be spinning out of control as groups of angry men gathered outside the police station where she was held.
For Muslims in Britain and other democracies, the story was a deeply depressing one: so many of its features, including the fact that it happened in the run-up to Christmas, seemed almost calculated to resonate with British tabloid readers, who may not know much about Sudan or Islam (or any other faith) but have strong feelings about teddies, tiny tots and motherly teachers.
In more elevated western circles, it is becoming commoner to hear the view that Islam itself (rather than any extremist interpretations of the faith) is posing a challenge to western values that must be resisted. And if that view becomes more respectable, so too does a defensive Muslim reaction, which is often tinged with geopolitical grievance.
And are we to allow fear of this “defensive reaction” to the fact that persons like myself, shouting from the rooftops, are now being take more and more seriously — are we to allow this fear to control us? I think not.
It’s time to stand up and point the finger at Islam, ladies and gentlemen. The new Nazis have arrived on the scene and they mean to destroy the future for your children. Wake up! Freedom came at a high cost and we had better be prepared to continue to pay the ‘toll’ every so often, or we will no longer possess such freedom.
6 CommentsTo observers who know Sudan, the whole affair seems to have become entangled with the broader stand-off between the government in Khartoum and the Western countries, including Britain, that have pushed for the United Nations to intervene in the appalling humanitarian crisis in Darfur. All diplomatic exchanges between the Sudanese government and Western ones, whether they concern refugees or teddy bears, take place against that background.

There number of people who said their religion was Islam was 32,500 in April 2006, when the Census was conducted across the State. The number represents a 70 per cent increase since 2002.
The following article was submitted to me from a reader in Arizona after he saw some of my statements over in the Jihad Watch comments sections concerning my dedication to the notion of amending the U.S. Constitution and, more specifically, the First Amendment. This is a subject I first discussed in any real detail in an article titled: The Threat Worse than Islamic Terrorism.
Before anyone reacts from the gut on this, read this proposal carefully. This in no way strips anyone of religious freedoms that actually follows a peaceful religion, but Islam itself does not fit into this category and must be opposed. This idea, along with my other proposal of boycott, can do much to stop the Islamic Glacier and Sharia Creep.
The following words were first posted over at Pedestrian Infidel, but since the author has found it very difficult to have these ideas reposted on other blogs, I’ll do my part today. I was impressed by the structure of this article, it being so close to my own ideas especially, and so I have decided to publish it here for all to read and offer their own thoughts and suggestions on.
It is my feeling that such a proposal as this should be taken extremely seriously and acted upon in some form in the near future.

Background and justification to Amendment 28Whereas Religion is defined as an institution dedicated to improving social conscience and promoting individual and societal spiritual growth in a way that is harmless to others not participating in or practicing the same;
Whereas the United States of America was founded on the ideals of individual rights, including the individual right to practice one’s religion of choice, or no religion, and that there would be no compulsion of religion, nor state sanctioned religion, nor a “religious test” for participation in the body politic;
Whereas Islam includes a complete political and social structure, encompassed by its religious law, Sharia, that supersedes any civil law and that Islam mandates that no secular or democratic institutions are to be superior to Islamic law;
Whereas Islam preaches that it and it alone is the true religion and that Islam will dominate the world and supplant all other religions and democratic institutions;
Whereas Saudi Arabia, the spiritual home of Islam does not permit the practice of any other religion on its soil and even “moderate” Muslims states such as Turkey and Malaysia actively suppress other religions;
Whereas Islam includes as its basic tenet the spread of the faith by any and all means necessary, including violent conquest of non-believers, and demands of its followers that they implement violent jihad (holy war) against those un-willing to convert or submit to Islam, including by deception and subversion of existing institutions;
Whereas on 9/11/2001 19 Muslim hijackers acting in the name of Islam killed 3,000 Americans, and numerous other acts of terrorism have been directed at the American people around the world;
Whereas representatives of Islam around the world including Osama Bin Laden (architect of 9/11), the government of Iran including Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, HAMAS, Hezbollah, and other Islamic groups have declared jihad (war) on America, and regularly declare that America should cease to exist;
Whereas there is no organized Islamic opposition to violent proponents of Islam;
Therefore: Islam is not a religion, but a political ideology more akin to Fascism and totally in opposition to the ideals of freedom as described in the United States Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights.
Be it resolved that the following Amendment to the Constitution be adopted:
Eye On The World has brought an interesting article to light this morning: Italy: Muslims may drop proposed mosque in northern town. It would seem that not all of Europe is ready to quietly give into Sharia Creep. I am not surprised that one of the toughest bastions of hope for freedom and common sense remains embodied in the nation of Italy.

It is so refreshing to come across an op-ed piece from a college writer that actually aligns with my own way of thinking. This morning I am cross-posting such an editorial from over at Tufts Daily by an International Relations major named Matthew Ladner (links and emphasis added). Mr. Ladner takes to task the notion that Islamophobia is a fairly diagnosed condition and proves in just enough words that we all have a right to hold Islam suspect if we feel justly threatened by Sharia Law and the like.

The following article typifies the heightened arrogance and confidence of the Islamic world. I have noted this change in the wind for several months and I can’t really blame the Islamists for rattling their swords ever louder; there is almost nothing standing in their way. The Muslims are moving against the non-Muslim world by exploiting our own sentimentalities, weaknesses, guilt-complexes, economic and political systems, education, the World Wide Web, bookstores, lobbying, fake charities and more. Now the Islamists are even confident that Israel itself will one day become a new part of the Islamic Caliphate:

Are they compatible?The United American Committee has funded two speakers to take on the notorious Muslim Public Affairs Council at an upcoming College Republican sponsored panel discussion on the subject of whether or not Islamic doctrine is compatible with democracy. Nonie Darwish and Hasan Mahmud, along with former Republican Party state chairman Shawn Steel will be countering pro-Sharia (Islamic law) arguments from the Islamist MPAC and will bring to light the facts which show how Sharia is everything counter to what democracy stands for.

7 CommentsAs Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-ul-fitr, commonly known as Koriteh, which marks the end of the month of Ramadan, President Yahya Jammeh, has called on the Islamic Ummah to be steadfast, bold and united in the spirit of Islam to condemn any form of attack on the Islamic religion.
I have to wonder if members of the U.S. Congress or President Bush ever receive reports like this in their daily briefings. The myth of “Islamic tolerance” lives on despite all the evidence to the contrary. I am not blind. From Mission Network News:
9 CommentsGaza (MNN) ― Gaza’s minority Christian community was badly shaken over the weekend after the director of the Christian Bookstore run by the Bible Society was found beaten, stabbed and shot to death. Rami Ayyad was 29 years old and an active member of the Gaza Baptist Church.
I have had plenty of painful hours to contemplate the state of the West these past few days. The shock of the realization that our own Congress and President are handing this nation over to illegals and Muslims has started to wash away this morning, enough for me to type this brief collection of my thoughts.
