It seems that I’ve built-up the Anvil to the point that I can hardly think of anything else to add to it, so now I’m busy refining it. In the past 48 hours I made many cleanups to code, the sidebar, links and fonts, as well as adding a nice statistics display and overhauling the Archives.
In fact, if you click on the Archives right now, you can see what I’m writing about for yourself. Older articles should now be much easier to browse through and locate thanks mainly to a terrific plugin called SRG Clean Archives.

OK, I have to run some errands today. But while I’m gone you get to get started on dealing with the issue of whether a particular reader here at the Anvil continues to keep his commenting privileges or not. Does he stay or does he go? You can vote once in the sidebar poll (which will remain static and active until just after midnight Central time) and this democratic vote will usher in Fate.

For more details, see the comments here.

Coming up on June 12th @ 9 PM, dark horse Presidential contender Duncan Hunter will be interviewed by Pam over at Atlas Shrugs. I know that at least one regular reader of the Anvil sees this man as a serious candidate, so I wanted to cross-post this information.
I’ve also added Hunter’s website to my links (see homepage sidebar) under the 2008 Presidential Race sub-section.

I’ve imported the data from the very first poll ever run on Foehammer’s Anvil, which was just prior to creating this new version of the site and migrating the whole deal to new hosting, so if some of you have already voted, you might get another chance at this one! It will appear randomly in the sidebar or find it in the Polls Archive:
Do you believe that Islam can ever be outlawed in the United States?
