The Islamist enemy is never idle; it is plotting continually and what is being investigated this morning is simply proof that eventually devastating murder will slip through the cracks and cost us all dearly again, and again. Keep telling yourself that this is the symptom of a “tiny minority of extremists”. If that lie helps you sleep better at night, good for you.

I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it. I didn’t want to blog about the President’s speech in a mosque yesterday; it simply makes me too furious. But I couldn’t just let the event go completely without comment.
For the record, I have lost all faith in President George W. Bush. I’ve tried very hard for several years now to believe that the President was just sly, that he really understands the threat and the ’score’, but not after yesterday.

The creativity of this uncovered plot should be yet another warning that we are not fighting idiots, and yes, you guessed it — the plotters weren’t Baptists. Now I have to ask, if these people are Muslim extremists, why aren’t there other “extremists” from other religions plotting to do the same such attacks? I mean, come on, at least once in a blue moon we should be getting a report of Extremist Jews plotting to blow up a sausage factory or something, right? But you understand by now, I hope, that this entire “extremists” excuse is just a now dead Politically Correct plot element that should be cast away and no longer uttered.

A photograph via JW, via the Telegraph and ultimately landing here. You might want to cover the eyes of young, impressionable children; this is scarier than the Wicked Witch.
The only photographs that I’ve seen in my life that put on the most unadulterated face of evil and hatred have always had Muslims as the centerpiece. Now, that can’t possibly be just chance alone.
And I’ve seen more footage of Nazis over the years than I can recall, and there’s still no comparison when it comes to outpourings of blind malice.

13 CommentsBAGHDAD - A suspected suicide bomber blew himself up Thursday in the Iraqi parliament’s cafeteria in a stunning assault in the heart of the heavily fortified, U.S.-protected Green Zone, killing at least eight people, a military spokesman said, and wounding dozens of others.
The blast in the parliament building came hours after a suicide truck bomb exploded on a major bridge in Baghdad, collapsing the steel structure and sending cars tumbling into the Tigris River, police and witnesses said. At least 10 people were killed.
