in Foehammer's Anvil and Censorship.
The ‘lite’ mirror of Foehammer’s Anvil (foehammer.net) is located at http://foehammer.com and is currently mis-rated by SonicWALL as I type this:
Category 1: Violence/Hate/Racism
I noticed this after doing what has now become a weekly habit of mine: checking my status with censors. That’s sad, isn’t it? As if I have time to waste.
Please help me out again by sending in a new ratings request for Foehammer.COM to SonicWALL. I suggest 31 - Web Communications.

Anvil readers helped fix this sort of problem before and I know you’ll do it again. Thank you in advance!
This is also as good a time as ever to unveil a WWII era poster that I adapted for the 1389blog.com campaign to Stop Blog Censorship! By the look of things it also appears that 1389 could use a hand with SonicWALL, too. These companies get paid to be this bad at what they do?

First ‘Pope Rage’, now I wonder if there will be ‘Aid Rage’ or ‘Choir Boy Rage’ or perhaps just ‘Catholic Rage’ soon to follow this story. From the Telegraph (hat-tip: A_Plague_On_Both_Houses):
The Pope’s private secretary has given warning of the Islamisation of Europe and stressed the need for the continent’s Christian roots not to be ignored, in comments released yesterday.
“Attempts to Islamise the West cannot be denied,” Monsignor Georg Gaenswein was quoted as saying in an advance copy of the weekly Sueddeutsche Magazin to be published today.

Here is an excellent editorial by Joel Himelfarb of Family Security Matters, which strongly reiterates many of the points I have made here on the Anvil in recent months, especially about the dire domestic threats to the United States from Islamist political moves and incursions into our educational institutions, as well as the unwitting alliance between moonbat journalists and Muslims (thanks to Sheila):
In the early days of Communism in the Soviet Union, V.I. Lenin coined the term “useful idiots” to describe people nominally hostile to Marxism who could be tricked into engaging in commercial or other activities (like promoting disinformation through the media) that help the Communist side.
From the Washington Post, an article discussing how the general population of the United States is starting to take a dimmer view of Islam:
Poll Numbers in U.S. Higher Than in 2001

As the war in Iraq grinds into its fourth year, a growing proportion of Americans are expressing unfavorable views of Islam, and a majority now say that Muslims are disproportionately prone to violence, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.
